Forgotten Style: Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Sabrina the Teenage Witch was an American sitcom that ran from 1996 to 2003, starring Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina Spellman, a teenager who discovered she was… well… a witch.

While nothing matches the glorious sarcasm of Salem the cat, Sabrina and her Aunt Zelda and Aunt Hilda had some great outfits.

While I’m still envious of Sabrina’s ability to snap her fingers (literally) and change her outfit, I’m grateful that she provided seven seasons of sartorial advice (say that five times fast). The three tips I’m taking away are: simple silhouettes make most fabrics work, layering is everything and monochrome is timeless.
